JJ, as always from you, an engaging read! Loved the complexity and juxtapositioning of the imagery. Re-read made the richness even more alive. I have one question, though. Is 'fungal' deliberate or a mis-type for 'fun gal'? I truly love that your imagery allows and supports the ambiguity of that phrasing.
